Arrow ka-t question

i am in the proses of buying all me stuff to turbo my ka. i have about every thing i need. i bought the apexi afcII, in the manual it doesn't have the 240sx in ther it just has s14 silvias. does anyone know if the ecu wires are the same? when i turbo my car i have all the fuel management figured out i just want to know what other internal work i should do to my motor to insure there is no .......... problems. i am only shooting for 7psi daily and 10 at the max for now. can i get away with just piston rings and a couple gaskets? head, intake and exhaust gaskets?

do you know the rings are bad? if not why are you pulling the motor apart for just piston rings at least do a hone/bearing/ ect

Yes... definately compression test first.. remember, even if you rreplace rings , there will always be the "next weakest link" in the chain.

with good compression numbers .... 160+ , and all relatively close together.... you can support 7psi very nicely on a stock ka.

also, consider an msd ignition and a blaster coil, gives you a nice clean, accurate spark...

might I ask how many miles are on the motor right now?

there is no point of just replacing rings if ur not gonna hone or bore the block u might just have a egg shaped cylinder wich will cause also low compression. 7psi is cake stock motor handles 400hp with good tuning some dude reached 500+ on a stock motor with some ugly *** getho setup
