I bought my 1998 240sx from amstuning a few months ago and when we bought it the blowoff vavle would really snap and now when it goes off it really dont have that snap to it any more does anybody have any idea why or how can i get it back to where it was.thanks.............c-ya honda

 

What kind of blow off valve is it?

why is this thread called my turbo and not my blow off vavle?
anyway maybe its not adjusted like it was before. make sure the adjuster screws are tight

 

Well sorry just wanted to know how to fix the problem i had.I have never owned a tubro car before just wanted some input on how to correct it not some smart a$$ answer.but thanks for the info.

Dunno what to tell ya, I'm not familiar with weird sounds coming from a BOV, except on a GReddy Type-S. Have you changed anything on the car since you got it?

Do not play with the adjustment screw. It really won't help you, and may do you more harm. Why don't you go into more detail as to the difference in sound before and now? And be specific, like when at boost or vacuum, and so on... Also since no one else suggested it, I say check the vacuum line.
