I just figured out that most downpipes bolt onto the precat instead of the 2nd catalytic on the S14. I just ordered my turbo kit and the downpipe bolts onto the precat also. I have Hotshotheaders installed, as most of you know they replace the precat and pipe and bolt- directly to the 2nd cat. I disposed of the stock precat a while ago. What i'm looking for is a downpipe that'll work w/ a garret t3/t4 turbo and Tial 38MM Wastegate, and will be long enough to reach the 2nd cat. I'm going to buy a RS*R Exmag catback system and I just bought a test pipe that replaces the stock cat, but I know that it's not going to reach the downpipe. Can anyone help? So much stuff to do to turbo, wow...
