//Newbie...flame away!

Hey guys, I'm a noob to nissan...

some retard totalled my old car, and I've fallen in love with s13 240sx's -- watching them at local drift events ... anyhow ...

I'm looking for a s13 right now, and plan to order an engine right away (I would consider rb, but afraid that it is so rare hard to find parts and such) ; so i'll probably go with an sr20det. what's a decent turbo upgrade on an sr20det? the 230+ hp range would be nice, are their any turbo's that will bolt right onto a sr20?

also, i don't understand the names of turbo's...do they not come in sequential or something? for example, it seems like you guys like t3 more then t25.

sorry i'm a dumbass, turbo's and foreign cars are new to me (i'm a former stanger.)

ANY INFO IS APPRECIATED!!! thanks for taking time and reading.

rb parts are easy to get just plan ahead. dont wait till it breaks and wait a week for something to ship.

Just keep in mind: As you remove one bottle neck, you'll hit another.

disco potato, garrett, and lots of other places to go upgrading the turbo. . . disco the easiest imo for upgrades.

sequential, parallel, and series turbo's are a whole other world, so don't start getting into too many crazy ideas when starting out with a turbo'd car.
