thanks for the input but thats very interesting what type of gas and did you have any way to see your a/f ratio like a wideband??

Cause everyone who I spoke to especially a tuner who is on all the turbo street magazines said sr's can take anything you throw at it with the right tuning up to about 400-450 wheel and i only want around 380whp so i guess time will tell!

(just waiting on a flywheel and a clutch and I'm off to get it tuned)

HOPEFULLY ILL POST SOME NUMBERS!!!

thanks again for the input

i always ran 93 here in Tn, my car didnt run well on anything else. i didnt have a wideband but i had a air/fuel ratio gauge. you can say i just abused it.

theres the answer right there if you didnt have a wideband or an accurate way to tell if you were running lean or rich than thats what fried your rings!

thanks anyway for the help!

ride revolution installed the nitrous kit, the dyno tuned the car when they installed it and got the air/fuel correct. and your welcome

ok im not tryin to be an ass but you are going to blow up your car. If that motor has high miles you screwed more.Yes its all in the tuning but, when you putting more air in with that turbo and putting even more air in with that nitrous oxied its gonna over load the cylinder and i got money on it your tune wont be right.Somethin is gonna hickup or skip that time you go to hit the button and well see you on here selling another blown sr20det motor.Like i said in not tryin to be a ass.If i was you i would spend that money on a t28 Hks waste gate headers some good stuff.Good luck

I have no patience left replying to people who are asked to only be educated. And you obviously have no education when it comes to nitrous.

SO THANKS FOR YOUR INPUT BUT YOU ARE TOTALLY WRONG!!!!

gonna be maxing that SAFC 2 out with those 550s. Unless you have a rom tune.

v8killa 11-09-2007 06:50 AM

not goin with the nitrous anymore thanks

k_wakasugi 11-09-2007 07:47 AM

What made you change your mind?

240SS 11-09-2007 07:58 PM

lol this kid is a trip. Nitrous is a good thing but you better have a good setup and a way to control timing. The SAFC will advance the timing using such larger injectors.

A window box nitrous setup, big fuel pump, wet kit and a MSD ignition box would probably be needed to run it correctly. Unless you could step up to a AMS so you can control the timing.
