nitrous on sr20det
#31
nitrous can be reliable if installed corectly. like if you throw together a junkyard turbo kit it doesn't mean its going to be reliable because of the turbo... if you turn up the boost on a trubo engine it leans out and runs into problems. same thing happens when people run too large of a dry shot on nitrous. fuel system upgrade fixes both problems.
also nitrous isn't flammable. the N20 mocules break appart at around 570 degrees F. the nitrogen cools the engine and the oxygen helps the fuel burn better.
why am i backing up nitrous? i don't know. i don't use it, or really want to either. just gotta stand up for the little guy i guess. but too bad the little guy gets all the crazy f&f followers.... "drill a hole into the valve cover and run a 100 dry shot. freeze the intake cam and boom."

I guess no one listened when I talked about turbo lag

yeah i am in the prcess or rigging my wind shield washer sprayers into 4 misters for the fmic and i am gonna have squirt 50% water and 50% alchohol on the fmic, then i am blast it with co2. it should keep everything nice and cold.
but i think i am going to do some work to the head instead of going to nitrous.
