non intercooled turbo on KA

i kno they dynoed the greddy kit non intercooled at like 200 something whp.... or close to that... but that was on e manage and 370 cc injecctors.... i m wondering if its possible to temporarily run a turbo at 4 psi on stock injectors and stock ecu and stock mafs and no intercooler? has anyone done this?

Yeah, but that's a waste man. A lot of money on a turbo set up for only afew horses. Do it right the first time man.

Don't go bootleg on a turbo setup. Do it right the first time, or don't do it at all, ya dig? A whole setup could cost you less than $3000.

DO NOT run that turbo if you're doing stock fuel. I'd unserstand MAYBE a 14B or something smaller, but nothing of a TD06 housing. 3psi is different on every turbo. Boost is irrelevant when you're talking about turbos, it's all about flow and efficiency.

3 psi? that would be a waste. just wait and get the required parts and then install everything.

the turbo setup im putting together has run me under $1000 and will put down somewhere between 225-250whp with a maximum boost of about 10psi.

3psi on a TD06 will flow pretty well, but it's just stupid to do w/ no fuel.

Why would you want to run a turbo kit with no intercooler....thats like running a marathon with no water...

and on a similiar note, why would greddy even bother doing this....they confuse the crap out of all the little kids with mommy and daddys money who have no understanding of turbos or even how they work....these kids end up crapping out their motor just because they saved a few bucks because greddy told them it was ok to not intercool...=/

i m waiting... yea true... 3 psi on a td04 will flow a lot more air than on a 14b... and i m gonna wait to get my car converted to a manual then i m gonna install the turbo.... all i need now is bov, fmic, and ic piping... maybe a external wastegate.
