Not the night for New turbo :(
Yea.................... the log manifold didn't give me the spacing i need. i have to source/build another one that has the flange closer to runner number one...
i was still able to weld my v-band flange setup on... I had issues with the Holset stock v-band because it had an slight Indentation
so i had to think of a way around it.... luckily the mig welder had wire speed and variable voltage, i was able to lay down some some ugly beads lol.. but its air tight ( well i flashed a light through the cracks and filled them in as i saw gaps) blah blah pics below
started to burn through :/ had to reduce the power a bit
yea its ugly,,,, ill grind it away ( i stuffed aluminum foil inside the outlet)
v-band ready to go when i get another manifold
( excuse the oil.. i was pre-lubing the shaft)

That is some custom work, there, Airman Jackson. Lookin' good though. Are you going to smooth everything out? What does the inside near the turbine look like after all the work? Can you do a leak test on that somehow? Lol.
Keep us posted!
