Q45 throttle body will it fit?

yea i'm still working on my project ka-t and i'm running into a current problem.
my engine has a huge port and polish job and is making low compression due to the stock throttle body and maff(needs 2 be bigger).
i was wondering if any 1 has used a q45 throttle body or some thing better?(does it fit?)
1. will the q45 bolt right up??
2. is theres a better design or product can some 1 direct me how to get it?
3. any 1 who has tried this plz reply?or any bright ideas would help.

no sir it will not bolt right up the diameter exceed that of an stock manifold, you would need to install some kinda adapter plate. its better to just create an manifold from scratch or Tig weld the Q45 TB to the intake manifold after you port match as much as you can.

I think you might be able to by weld-on adapter plates on ebay so you can run the Q45 TB on a Stock KA Manifold. I remember seeing them a while back. Or you would always have a machine shop fab one up,etc.

bro the TB alone is not going to make that much of a difference. if you have an stock plenum it can only take but so much air in at a time.
