S14 ECU Problem

I posted this in the other forum but nobody said anything.......

To make a long story short, the engine shop calls me and says that they dont know what wire on the ecu is the constant there for the ecu resets itself everytime the car is turned off and on again. The fuel managment system still holds all the fuel maps in its memory and I guess the way they described it.

I have to drive the car like 400 miles home on tuesday and im alittle worried I dont know much bout ecu or electronic problems is this something I should worry bout driving it home??

if your car is in normal running conditions other than your ecu you should be fine. nothing gets erased when you reset your ecu. kinda like when you re-install a program on your computer, it just goes back to its original form.
