Hello all

I trying to find specifications on the S14 T28 turbo as specs and compressor maps seem to be non existant for this turbo on the internet.

Basically, all I want to know is the highest "safe" boost it can be pushed to. I've heard it can go to 20 psi without too many problems, and someone told me he was running his on 16 psi all day, every day.

Is this true?

If someone could get back to me on this, it would be very much appreciated

I can tell you that I boosted 1.3 on that turbo everyday. It never blew but my CA did ..... I think 1.3 is in the neighborhood of 18 psi
I also boosted 1.5 (21.4psi)one time when I was setting the boost controller so I know it can handle that high but I dont know for how long.

Lesson to all:

Motors need oil to operate properly (expensive story)

for some reason 17psi sticks out in my head... i know it can absolutely run that much boost (obviously you have to make sure your intercooler and fuel system are up to the task ), maybe a little more.

 

stock injectors?

 

stock injectors are 440cc/min, side-feed. i want to say they drop into the S13 fuel rail but i'm a bit fuzzy so go search freshalloy before believing me
