The SR is finally on the engine stand!

I decided to go ahead and build it since a rocker arm was loose in the head(pic inclosed). Im Gonna go ahead and build it with weisco pistons, ARP headstuds, rod bolts, and main bolts. HKS valvetrain and cams and Greddy intake manifold. Then later on when I recover my funds, I will beef the turbo and fuel. For now i will build the beast and hope for the best.

Well i finally got back from vacation and started tearing into it. And the bottom end looks really good so far. Bearings all look fine (Im gonna replace anyway to be safe) No signs of any prior spun bearings, No shavings or chunks in the oil pan. Everything looks really clean. I guess they just took it a little too far once or twice and threw that rocker arm off track

Even better news today, i took the head off and removed teh rods and pistons. And the pistons look brand new, I mean there is 0 Carbon deposits on them. The bearings all look flawless, crack looks perfect.

Im so happy now compared to when i took the valve cover off
