T-78????

I was thinking about getting a bigger turbo for my supra and saving the 78 for the 240....has anyone done this??? What do you think? I know i will obviously need a diff motor, but thought it would be nice to keep the fun turbo in the family.

lol...
Seriously i would like to see what that would be like on there, hate for this turbo to go to waste you know

For drag racing its a fun turbo but need more power, for the supra. And i think that it would have the right amount for the 240....we shall see what i do next.

... Thats a big turbo, even for the KA. It wont be very streetable and probably won't make much power until about 5,000rpm. Good luck though either way.

If you are talking Greddy T78 There is an S13 here where I am at making 590hp to the wheels with a T78, He is running stock internals (S15) but head is built. It can be done and if you can tune a car then you can make it streetable.

its a good turbo for the 2jz... but on a sr/ka there's gonna be way too much lag, for me atleast

SR/KA I would look more in the T6X range. Although for the KA a Super T70 Turbonetics unit would be amazing...

Please do not double post, it is annoying. If you have more to add to a post and you already have the last post, please go back and edit your post. Keep it up and I will start erasing.
