t25 question

does any one know roughly how much a stock garrett t25 turbo (fairly good condition) would cost? i have a blown one in my car already. need a new one. how much for brand new as opposed to used? does the t25 have a good boost?

Brand new is about $500

used $200

if you know where to get it .. you can get it as low as $100.

T25 can boost to 12psi MAX..over that the efficiency curve fails.

Everyone swaps it out for T28 or better.

It's a quick Spool Turbo..Kicks @ about 2500 RPM.

Good for 350hp MAX.

Dies at about 6500 RPM..shift then you should drop to about 3.5-4k..so the powerband is still there.

Must be nice to be spoon fed.

I wish I had that when I was learning..
