Both the T25 and T28 utilize the same flange, a T25 flange. So yes the T28 will bolt up to the SR20's stock manifold. Or any manifold with the T25 flange as well. The T28 is only slightly bigger then the T25, so its efficiency is a little better, meaning it can take about 2 more lbs. or so of boost. But by turbo sizing standards, it is still very small.

My S13 red top SR20DET came w/ an S15 T28 dual ball bearing, " Got Lucky", so that proves 100% that YES you can swap out your tiny T25 for a T28, but I cant get more than 8psi, running out of fuel, so if you do it, get bigger injectors, at least 550cc, and a fuel controller, Apex-i S-AFC 1 or 2!
You can pick them up USED for around $500, and NEW like $800+

I like the HKS Ex. manifold, pricey but clean!

And another thing, I have seen guys run 22psi( race gas), and 18psi ALL DAY on pump gas, w/ proper fuel system, and tuning!

It seems to be the best bang for your buck red top SR20 upgrade!
But in order to have fuin, you gotta have the fuel!
Rumor has it, you will have a 12sec dailydriven 240sx, w/ this turbo, and hardly any lag at all, so you can drift/street race..
my best time is an embarrasment 14.3 @ 97mph, here at 4800ft elevation, 8psi, street tires, NO LSD, 2.3 60ft, so mayeb some drag radials,or slicks, and a LSD, 13's, then some fuel upgrades, and run 22psi, w/race gas, and high 12,low 13? mayeb better, get a 1.6 60ft!

How do you run out of fuel at only 8psi.? Did you replace your fuel pump with a Waldbro or equivalent? I can tell you right now that with a simple boost controller and the 255lph fuel pump I run at 14 lbs. all day long without a problem. I'm doing it right now. Thats with an S14 SR20, T28 turbo. I could run upwards of 18lbs. on occasion with a FMIC, and still be fine. So:

1)you don't need larger injectors
2)you wont need an AFC or fuel controller

Just get a boost gauge to monitor how much boost your putting out and make sure you don't over do it.

Walbro pump are junk, IMO! I have a Tomei fuel pump, had too many problems w/ Walbros in other cars, so you get what you pay for...
i dunno ?WHY? I get fuel cut when I run over 8psi, but I just do...
it doesnt matter anyway, I am getting an RB swap!

Well if this helps, I spanked a 92 Civic hatch w/ a b18B boosted( Integra LS motor), he ran 5psi, and I ran 8psi, and got him by 2 car lengths!
