turbo upgrade for sr20??

hey, i currently have a redtop sr20 and planning on upgrading the valvetrain and fuel system, i hoping to get around 350 to 400 hp. the cars gonna be for circuit racing yes circuit not drifting so i need good midrange power and relatively quick spool up, i need to know a good turbo upgrade kit to get for it including fm intercooler. any suggestions??

you could get an s14 t28 bb and rebuild it, bore the exhasut housing a little i think thats what they do ive never done it lol. but it holds some more boost and its a t28 so youll have good spoolage=)

cool, so i guess i'll buy a t28, then bore out the manifold and downpipe and buy a new wastegate and blowoff valve from hks, and an fm intercooler from greddy. sounds good right?

before you do that gt2817r is a very good choice to consider. it spools very nicely and can flow quite a bit. check out some flow maps and i think you'll like what you see.

yea either turbo would be nice, youll never reach 350+ hp on a stock t28 though....stock manifold bored or a tubular would work, for the turbo outlet just buy a 3in. dont bother boring the stock one, get the 3 in. downpipe with a flexpipe built in, and 3in. exhaust...grreat spoolage should then occur..also greddy just cam out with a mspec fmic thats pretty cheaply priced, get an hks wastegate
