V-mount intercooler / radiator

i plan on doing like the rx-7 people and setting up a V mount... i am getting the sweet *** hood that the Yashio Super s15 silvia uses... and i am working on pushing 36psi safely with so little intercooler piping and a racing wastegate and HKS SSQV BOV and recirculation everything , because stealth and power roll hand in hand... i see those ninja movies! lol im just looking to see if anyone knows about a place to find the intercooler for this or the radiator, because i m trying not to have my welder friend over for a few days .... he has things to do! but if i have to custom make it, then i will lol... lemme know what you all think . peace from NYC

We like people first and their cars second. Most of us are not impressed by much. I am that way 100%.

If you rock and roll you are cool, if your car does and you are dick. Well we don't need you because people are cooler than cars.

Anyway. I will post up on the site and see who can do the welding.

the one i helped do. we used a koyo.

it takes a little mod to the radiator and get a filler neck. alot of odd radiator hoses.

most of the signal cars have the sides of the IC plated up. i guess you could call it. then put new pipes on it pointed the other way.

some times overheating isssues come up but it can be dealt with.

Tecca, there is a guy by the name of Oscar on IFX that has this setup with his KA-T. He may be able to help you out with your project. He may also be a member on Club240 as well. Good luck, look foward to meeting you at one of our meets.

No problem man, the IFX website is down for the moment, I'll talk to Oscar when the site is back up and running.
