By the way if you're gonna get a SR20VE head you might as well go all the way and get the new 20 valve version. 206 hp stock.

Your guy's argument discussion brings up a great question to mind. What MPH does the sr20det 5 speed manual run out at in 5th gear at redline?
THanks BTW will someone respond to my post in the turbo section? Or just do a search for username Sirius. Thanks once again! |

Integra's gsr redline at 8 stock, S2000 9 grand, and my buddies b16a did 10:devil: Thousand RPM's in his 98 civic, (I was in the car and I didn't know what was going to happen, but it was fckin awsome.):spin:
It can be done on a lot of honda motors, even a lot of the newer cars have very hi redlines (even the new mach 1 mustang revs to 7800) which is rediculous for a big motor. 7mgte stops a 6 grand stock, but with some computer help can pull hard pass 7. 8 grand is pushing it anyways. You should really see some other crazy peoples dyno and see where the power is at. Some cars don't even need to go that high to get the power and a lot of times lose power coming close to redline. my 2 cents. Kam:thumb: |
