hey im about to turbo my 95 240, and im trying to decide whether to do a upwards mount t-mount or normal. or should i do a v-mount like the signal cars. what would u do?

 

ive never heard of T mount is that for FF cars or what? you can basically put an intercooler anywhere it fits, but your best bet would a regular front mount.

Definitly front mount. To do the v mount like the Signal cars would require lots of modifications like moving the entire engine back and then mounts and everything else.

 

well you dont have to move the whole engine back to fit a v-mount in, and it is really up to you. How much money you have to spend on it, is it your daily driver, and how much HP you want out of it. I amd getting a Air to Water intercooler made because i do daily drive my car and it will keep it alot cooler then a fmic would. but thats my opinion.

 

I got the info on the whole move the motor back from the SCC article on the Signal drift cars with the sr and they moved it back 5mm and down 3mm. That is how they said it would only fit. But do what you want

 

if you're like the rest of us, cash is not flowing from your ***. Save yourself the heartache and cash and put a front mount on. It looks good and is very effective.
