what valvetrain parts to get?

what valvetrain parts to get?

im about to rebuild my sr20 and i wats wonderin what brand of valves , springs, and retainers i should get. also i'm upgradin my turbo and hopin to make 350 to 400 hp, is it necessary to install low compression pistons and new rods, crankshaft, and flywheel. thanks in advance?

ferrea springs, stock valves, ferrea titanium retainers, and rocker are stoppers... get ahold of Enjuku racing they will take care of you. i just bought all that same stuff and it was actually pretty cheap.

piston if you want... i went with wiesco, but cp are good too. crank is up to you. i had mine machined a little and knife edged but thats because i wanted to

did you do the rebuild yourself?? also i've heard of people bending rods at 400, is it worth getting rods and crank if im going for 350-400? and who can get to do the rebuild for me. i don't have the tools or experience to do my own rebuild

i did most of it...i have some mechanical back round though. i took the block and head to a machine shop to have it bored and honed. and ported and polished.
never heard of the bending at 400 thing. i guess we will see what happends if i ever get the much

Ferrea is awesome stuff! I am using Rev valves, springs and Ret. Also I like Arias pistons and pauter rods.
If u can afford it overbuild..... That way u can beat the **** out of it day to day. jst my $.02.

we've been using supertech in our race cars and have been quite happy about that. COntact Rashed at AutomotiveSpeed.com and he will hep you out with any questions you have. He has some of the best customer service around.

it might just be me...but that automotivespeed.com is more of a honda site.. but of they have good prices- more power to them

check out enjukuracing.com they wont steer you wrong at all.

yea AutomotiveSpeed.com definitely started being more geared toward Hondas partly because the most recent project was a s2000 but he is currently opening up into the 240 market which he is very familiar with considering he's had a couple

aight, so i wuz looking into ferrea parts on enjuku's site, and wtf, a set of springs is freakin 600 buks. any cheaper alternatives??
