WHo makes a turbo kit for the SOHC KA

i want to know who makes a turbo kit 4 the SOHC ka engine.
does anyone make a turbo manifold for the SOHC ka, that i could just bolt on a turbo and intercooler?
I've heard that SOHC is better the DOHC for turbo on a KA.

Go to realnissan.com. They are a group that specializes in turbo kits for the KA series motor. A kit from them with everything is about 2600 or so.

SOHC KA's don't have much potential. I personally think its a waste of time to build an SOHC. DOCH KA's have loads of potential, if you really want to make a KA fast, go with that.

dohc ka's may have more potential as NA......but sohc's are better for turbo aplication because of their stronger internals.
a turbo sohc will out preform a sr20det.
another good reason to turbo a ka is because of the strenght of the block......sr20dets are alum.....there blow easily if really pushed.

im pretty sure DOHC's can perform just as well as SOHC in turbo fourm, yeah the SOHC has a little lower compression but its also got only 1 cam and it also only has 2 valves per cyl.(right???) so i think they balance eachother out pretty much and it all depends on how u set it up!!

My friend bought a 1990 Nissan Stanza with a KA24E turbo from the factory, 5 psi. Never had any problems. Also, in taking a look at RealNissan.com, you'll see a 8-sec and 10-sec KA24E, obviously heavily modified (and perhaps the 'E' chosen for a reason), but one can easily note the potential!
