anybody in ohio?

Wow, did I really post that 2 years ago? :P
Ok, so I'm not newly back to Ohio any more, but I'm still looking for people to hang out with or look to get advice from. Money hasn't let me do much of anything to my 240 yet (and there are some titling issues that have arisen when I recently tried to get Ohio plates...), so I'm still looking.
@ TypeX - Thanks for the link, I'm checking now.

I'm not far from Alliance, so maybe 30-40 minutes from Akron / Green. I work near the Akron / Canton airport, too, so I don't work that far from you, either :P
My 240 is kind of out of commission at the moment. Kind of a long story, but I'll try to give you the gist.
I bought my 240 probably 3 or 4 years ago in Florida. The guy had 2 he was selling, an 89 SOHC that was pretty clean and a 90 DOHC that still had the holes from where the wing had been removed. I chose the 89 since I was planning on doing the SR20 swap anyway. Drive it around for a few years, then move back up to Ohio. I don't drive it much, so I didn't worry about plates. Well, this past birthday I figure I'm going to break down and transfer the title to Ohio so I can start driving it again when the weather gets nicer. So they check the title, and check the car... the VIN's don't match. I'm thinking (hoping) the guy gave me the wrong title, since the VIN on my car goes to a 90 and the one on the title goes to an 89. So what it comes down to is that the title I have isn't for the car that I have, so I can't get plates for it. I really just need to break down and pay the fees to find out who has the title to my car and then ask them if they also have a title that doesn't match it.
I think my only other option is to call it a salvage?
