Talking Apexi AFC

I'm new to the site, but not new to 180's or 240's. I currently own a 180sx in Japan, redtop sr, and a 240 in Chicago, with a '96 blacktop SR. I was just wondering if anyone has installed the Piggyback air/fuel computer made by apexi (AFC)? I just purchased one and I am going to install it this weekend. If anyone has any experience using one on a SR swap, I would appreciate the feedback. Oh yeah, and if your wondering why I have a 180sx in Japan, I am in the military and was stationed in Okinawa for 3 years where I competitvly drifted. Thanks for your time and experience.

Post pics of your cars sometime! But anyway, I'm pretty sure you can put an AFC on any car, as long as: A. You know what your doing, and B. You know how to tune it. GL MAN, AND POST SOME PICS OF YOUR CARS!

I know for a fact that it is a piggyback, the power fc is a computer swap or stand alone ecu. I was just wondering if anyone has used the S-AFC on a SR swap.

I know how to use, install, and tune...... if you actually paid attention to my question..... I was wondering if people who have installed it think it is worth it, and what kind of gains they recieved from using this product.... thank you.

I have S-AFCII on my specV right now and it is worth its price

but I’m not sure how good it will be on sr motor as soon as I get my car working I will swap safc to my 240sx.

I also found this forum a little bit informative.
