909/626/818/213/714/310... wave "hi" =)

Remember how in high school if you were driving along and you saw another car with mods, it's always the "stare and go" type deal? As if it was like "oooo - who's car looks better huh? huh?" kind of thing?

Lately, whenever I see a tuned 240 - or even a stock one where the driver looks like an enthusiast, I give them a smile and the armed forces salute (not the one finger salute LOL) - and it's cool because so far everyone I came up upon would return the gesture.

So I'm thinking, it would be cool if all of us 240 drivers would do the same. Leave the maddog stares to the immature Honda crowd.

Just the other day I saw a really low burgundy/maroon S13 hatch with a mean front lip on Brea Canyon Rd., did the salute, and the guy looked a little surprised, then waved back

The only one I go to when I'm lazy is in Chino Hills, because it's a new car wash machine and pretty nice. But come to think of it, I think there's one on Diamond Bar Blvd. (not 100% positive though).

From Cal Poly, take Temple towards Valley Blvd. Pass Valley, go up the hill and after Shilo Inn, Diamond Bar Blvd. is on your right.

Anyways, yeah - I think the Armed Forces salute combined with a slight tilt of the head (like a bow, but just your head) will be a lot better than a normal wave - it would be sort of like an "acknowledgement to your fellow 240 driver". If we all do it, we'll know that it's because we're all part of the 240 community... so even if someone who doesn't have a 240 or has one not running yet (*cough Jynx) does this hello, we'll know.

yeah i'd do that.. but around my part of LA (koreatown) i'm the only one w/ a 240 that's fixed up.. the rest are just stock cars that moms or dads are in the driver's seat. i guess i'll salute the moms too. haha! but yeah i love that idea.

I usually try to acknowledge any 240s i see around,

the past couple times I went to LA i didnt get any response from the 240 people, but there was a hotty in an escort around ventura that waved back,,, <3<3<3

Last night I got some fun cruising with a primer black s13 coupe in El Cajon, nothing like fellow enthusiasts.
