I live in irvine and am troubleshooting my power windows on the drivers side because it wont roll down. I know the switch is bad and before tearing my door panel off and looking deeper I was wondering if anyone in oc with an s14 could let me use their window switch for a couple of minutes to see if that is all I need. It takes 2 secs to swap out it is only one screw and I could come to you. Any help would be great I dont want to drop $160 on a new one and then have something else be wrong also and have to spend another $150+ on one of the other components. thx! email me brainfood@***.net or reply here

You should hit up Aerodyne (I can't remember if its spelled that way or not) they should have a switch they can sell you way cheaper than that.

If you need directions let me know. It's on Trask between Magnolia and Brookhurst. I don't know what city that is in, but its near Garden Grove/Westminster.

You work at autobacs? do you like it? I was thinking about applying for a job there. What do you do? If you dont mind me asking how hard is it to get a job? I have tons of automotive experience but it is all garage work so I dont have any referances. I am senior tire tech at americas tire company though so I thought about trying to get my foot in the door that way. I will look for that place is it used parts or what is it? Any good place to buy oem parts in oc I need an upper shifter boot and clutch hard line for my 5sp swap. What are you getting done to your car? I cant wait to get the 5sp in and so I can actually drive the car like its meant to be driven. Are you going to the drift day and ameture comp end of this month?

I do like autobacs, but its less than what I was used to making when I lived on the east coast.

I sell car audio there.

It's been fairly hard to get work there lately because we had too many employees. They are looking for tire/wheel SALES right now, so if you know a descent amount about plus sizing and stuff, that should be easy. They may also be looking for some techs, so swing by and grab an application.

Aerodyne (sp?) is a small little place that does a lot of JDM stuff. They also make some of their own stuff. If you are looking for it, it doesnt look like a shop. But there are some really nice FC's out front (87-92 rx7) and some old corolla gts's and some 240's as well. It looks like a little office park.

I hear Garden Grove Nissan is a good place, as well as Cerritos Nissan. BTW Areodyne is near GG Nissan

My car is getting an identity crisis front end and an SR swap.

I will most likely miss any upcoming events due to work, lack of funds, and the car being in the shop.

I'm rollin in my 2000 Maxima right now with the occasional jaunt in the GF's 96 240sx SE (Auto).

BTW identity crisis is my joke about my s15 front end.

I'm off on thursday and friday, but any other day if you swing by in the middle of the day I'll be there, so hit up the car audio dept and say HI.
