BTW, anyone willing to do a big bear cruise/run in spring when weather comes back to normal?

This is a minimum 300+ mile run from sun valley area to big bear and back(or halfway back, or whatever). It's a super fun run! I know my Miata friend will be totally up for it and will show us some small roads that are awesome. I will post info when march comes lol

Wow, that's pretty harsh....

My cousin's ex was up in the Crest Highway this past XMas, and his homey was driving (Honda, of course) and the guy took a turn too hard, they were going too fast, the car tumbled down the side of the mountain. The rear window smashed open, and his seatbelt somehow came undone, and he flew out of the car and hit the ground hard and broke his neck. He died a few days later.

It's funny when you don't think of it so much, but when ish like that happens, it's totally effed up.

Driver Error.

...the driver was irresponsible, whether it's a mountain or a highway. It was his fault.

I'm not trying to sound insensitive or anything... but the driver put himself and the passenger in a dangerous situation and he lost. His fault, not my problem.

No I totally understand, it was that idiot's fault, all I'm sayin is that look what stupidity cost- A guy's life, and not even the one that was driving....

went to glendora last night 5/27/06. left around 230 before all the kids show up. as we left the peak, about 15 cars showed up all at once, bumper to bumper. on the way down a couple more groups of cars showed up, maybe 5-8? halfway through the ENTIRE course, me and a few friends chilled at a gallery listening to music and just chatting. all of a sudden a CHIPPY rolls up the canyon towards the peak. followed by 8 ambulances 4-5 tow trucks and even more chippies. we only saw 3 other cars leaving a few minutes after my group parked and chilled. this post should be deleted to keep teh kids out of trouble and harms way.
