17x11 on an s13

Does anyone know if it is possible to fit an 11 in wide wheel on the rear of an s13 with only a roll and pull. Granted offsets make a big difference but, I do not know the offsets. The wheels are for a rear wheel drive car so theyre in the low numbers. Any advice or feedback is appreciated.

Thank you.

yes its possible, your just going to have some negative camber, and stretch your tire.

Hahaha once again I don't get this.

If you want the 17x11s for looks, then fine.

But don't think you are gonna gain performance by trying to "squeeze" them in.

If you stretch your tires, you are losing out, because you are putting less tread down than you could have (i.e. you might as well have just used those same tires on a 10 or 9 inch wide wheel)

Also, if you have to run any more than a degree of negative camber, you are once again not helping anything, as the outside edge of the tire is off the ground again.

I would say if you want 11s and actually want to get the full performance out of them, use the proper size tire (like a 285 at least) and do overfenders or pull enough so that you can run ~1-1.5 degrees of negative camber.

...otherwise it's just a waste and purely cosmetic

wise words indeed ^^

i personally thing the performance ideal would be 17x9.5 or maybe 10s in the back. leave the 11s on Q45s and LS400s.

You can do it. Bigger has been done(ex 18*11). Over fenders are very ideal.

well its a drift mostly drive every once and a while kind of ride. So as far as the camber I already have -2.5 degrees in the rear so thats not the problem. And I think it will look sick. Also does anyone have any pics of 17x11's on a s13. 18x11 would be cool too.

more then -1 camber is not to much, as for the performance gain of rockin a bigger tire, not everyone is out there for grip, not to mention with an 11 inch wheel its not like ur gona be rockin a small tire whether its stretched to hell or not, since it is a drift car stretched would be better because hes going to be using a tire that is still really wide for the grip necessary as well as stretched to hell for maximum sidewall stiffness, i vote do that **** and rock it proudly, ill search for some pics later

Forgot to emntion that. Hes running wider fenders all around, so you'd need wider fenders to have his kind of clearance and alignment specs. On stock fenders, you'd need really skinny tires, a massive roll and pull, and lots of camber to even think of being able to fit those on.
