Another offset question....

Ok so idk if everyone is tired of seeing these questions, but i just want to get some opinions, what would be a good offset for 18X9.5 in the front and 18X11 in the back? Can that even fit in a stock S13? I plan to eventually get overfenders, but i know I am gonna get the wheels first before i do all the body mods, cause a sick body kit would look stupid on stock rims. Anyway, let me know.

Ayuaddict 04-05-2007 12:57 PM

on stock fenders youre gonna need around +15 in the front and around +30 in the rear. with (30mm) over fenders you can easily run 0 offset or a little lower, and maybe -5~ish for the fronts. thats a lot of stagger by the way. what wheels are you looking at?

disclamier: you can run whatever size wheels with whatever size offsets on any car with enough work, these are just basic measurements for easy install.

AZdrifterS13 04-05-2007 01:24 PM

Yeah if i run +30 in the back, will it be pretty flush? i want it to llok good with just the stock body and then maybe when I get my fenders and flares I can just get some spacers to push it a bit and make it nice. Do you think that is too much stagger? I can go more in the front, but i was just thinking 9.5 might be about as big as i wanna go. I was looking at the Work VS TX and VS XX, i'm not sure which one i prefer.

motegineon 04-05-2007 03:50 PM

it will be hella baller flush

and i like the vs xx a lil better i think, but tey look a lot alike so i duno

RuizXIII 04-05-2007 05:16 PM

VS-XX is so much sex. I love those. But cost nice dough.
those are some pretty big sizes bro.

save this for future reference.

Ayuaddict 04-05-2007 11:17 PM

spacers = fail on baller ass wheels. high offset + spacer = less lip.

lol.

1 Attachment(s)
i got +34rear and +40ishfront with 2 2mm spacers on all 4 corners. its pretty flush if you ask me. Attachment 23792http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a40/J-Boogy/bb.jpg

AZdrifterS13 04-06-2007 12:06 AM

ZenkisliderS14(who drives a s13 chuki???), 2mm spacer or 20mm? and yes your wheels are sexy-flush. And yuta, i have to run a spacer after i get my fenders and flares or I will be mexi-flush the whole time I'm on stock body. i'll give up some of my baller status for that. I think I do like the VS XX a bit more, but i think I'll go with the VS TX instead for a little uniqueness cause lots of people got the other ones. You know its funny, cause i have never even heard of wheel offset before i came to this site, and now itslike the main thing i look for in a wheel. FLUSH = SEXYNESS. Thank you all who have turned me from a sunken-in-wheel-loser into a pimped-out-flush-master. HAHA!

Zenki_SliderS14 04-06-2007 12:10 AM

i drive an s13 chuki lol.

edit: 2 5mm spacers on all 4's

AZdrifterS13 04-06-2007 12:23 AM

Nice dude. I wanna change my name. I wanna be off the "drifting bandwagon" because i would rather do time attack and road races but oh well. so basically you have 10mm spacers all around right?

Zenki_SliderS14 04-06-2007 12:25 AM

yup, looks bombtastic =^___^= i still slide around form here and there. nothing i wanna go big with and i made this name even before i had a 240. i spent most of my time reading and all that before i made my final decision on a hatchback. Near 50-50 anyone? yes please

AZdrifterS13 04-06-2007 12:54 AM

***************** i just wrote this big ass reply but my dumb computer was dumb. haha. Man this sucks.

Zenki_SliderS14 04-07-2007 02:21 AM

what wheels do you have now? and any suspension mods?

motegineon 04-07-2007 07:17 AM

mexiflush is sexy, if theres not fender modification, then there not flush...thats my motto

MS!3 04-07-2007 03:57 PM

yea 510's can pull it off real nice, one white and blue one shows up at autox sometimes. haha like 14x9 -30 and he cut like an inch or 2 around each fender. they stick out like 2 or 3 inches, its very hot, indeed.

AZdrifterS13 04-07-2007 07:59 PM

Stock stock. I'kk get coilovers before i get wheels, and update all the arms and links, etc.

silviaks2nr 04-12-2007 06:58 PM

just curious... why do you need 11" wide wheels in the rear? even if you plan to moderately turbo your ka that is a hell of alot to spin. you would be much better off going with like 17x9 around and putting some nice grippy 245/35 tires all around.

Ayuaddict 04-12-2007 09:01 PM

cuz it looks cool. same reason why we dont all shop at target for clothes.

W3RD

AZdrifterS13 04-13-2007 09:21 PM

yeah what he said^^ (yuta) and plus i plan to turbo my KA and not just moderatly. haha. extremely.

RuizXIII 04-13-2007 10:16 PM

I hope your gonna go all out then. And not destroy the bottom end.

AZdrifterS13 04-14-2007 03:16 AM

i wont be destroying anything. wel i might, but i'll try not to. I want to get a stroker kit, but the only one i have seen is Brian Crower in a magazine, but i still don't see it on their website or anywhere else. That would be pretty cool though, stroker KA-T FTW!

Levi SPL S14 04-14-2007 10:36 AM

you are the biggest poser here so far.

1.your car is super stock and will stay that way
2.your "plans" cost a **** load of money none of which you have.
3.11" in the rear with a 30mm offset is for pussies
