A guy looking for advice

I have a 92 S13. COMPLETELY STOCK. I am not joking when i say completely stock. The only thing that i found different in this car is this Nokia adapter and no motorized antenna. besides that COMPLETELY STOCK. I plan on turning it into a drift car. The first thing I wanna do is change the rims and probably lower it. I'm a senior in HS gettin ready to graduate. I still gotta buy my prom tickets, yearbook a jacket or 2, some photos and whatever im gonna where to prom. What i really want right now is just some suggestions on wheels and how low to go for lowering it. I don't plan on getting this stuf right away, but it be nice if I knew what i was looking for. Thanx ppl

Find something that YOU like. But, if you are at all serious about drifting, go with 16 inch or smaller so you can get used tires on the super cheap. 17 inches or bigger is going to be a PITA to find used. A good set of entry level coilovers can be had for 1000 bucks, just search and you'll come up with a lot of opinions on suspension.

If your new to the drift thing and you still bein in hs, i know you are go used rims and tires and to save money dont buy what your goin to wear to prom rent, one more good way to save money in hs so you can dump it all into your car is to bum lunch money off ppl every day dont ask for anything more the 50/75 cents from ppl and by the end of the lunch you will leave with 30 bux in change, thats what got me my American Racing Libre rims and my bre front in hs haha

^^^ I see a lot of people doing that. They would get 18'' rims for riding around then when they want to drift they just use stock tires.

you could possibly persuade me to agree with the coilovers, but why would a stock 240 need 9" wide wheels?

I suggest getting Stance coilovers, you can find them on various sites, and they aren't too expensive compared to many other brands. Plus the ride is a lot smoother =)
