Man-o-Man y'all bicker like a married couple, lol

You took the words out of my mouth. 17x9+15 around is completely flush with the fenders, none of the silly sticking out mess that you probably want to avoid

whats wrong with 10 +12??? sounds pretty flush to me.

9.5 +15 is pretty decent thats the least i would go.(kinda dont want the CSTs becuase of that)

FN 17x10 +12 = roll fenders and stretch them out, they stick out like mofos on S14 and S13. We had a customer who wanted it, sold it to him w/ tires and mounted them on. They... stick... OUT... LOL

I would have to do widebody for those rims...

zenkislider 05-10-2007 12:53 PM

no you would have to oull your fenders, or get over fenders.

IPWNU 05-10-2007 05:31 PM

al right I think im going wit the 17x9's
so final thing, 235 40's or 245 40's

MS!3 05-10-2007 06:38 PM

235/40s. 45 would go strait up. 35 would have a mild strech, better fitment.

zenkislider 05-10-2007 07:04 PM

235. ftw.

235/45... get the extra cushioning, better ride, less risk of rims bending, and less noise (for certain types of tires).

I run 245/40 in the rear, Its safer to run a slightly thicker tire if you dont want to risk bending the rims.

Basically:

Thicker tires = absorbs more of the impact from stupid potholes or sunken sewer manholes... bastards...

You know, the more I think about it, I'd like to be able to rotate them... so I think I'm going to go with the 9's

I'd say 235/40 R17 would be best. You can go 45, it wont rub.

Im looking at getting 17x9 all around on my S14. What is the perfect offset, size tires and everything? no stretch tire though. just nice looking wheels (thinking about sport max 006). i want the look lke the tires fit almost flush with the fender? Im running tein coilovers as well. and I dont want to have to modify anything.

vbgambini 05-11-2007 07:15 PM

So 17x9 +15 is the ideal size wheel? and 235/40/17 is the ideal tire size for flushness? what wheels have those sizes?

RuizXIII 05-11-2007 07:40 PM

Sportsmax aye....
