tire size?

hey guys, i was looking fomr some ideas about tire size for my rims. i have fno1r-c 17x8 +25/17x9 +15. i have an 89 hatch. i have not lowered the car yet, or done any body mods. i want to stay away from pulling or rolling for right now, but im open to anybodys opinion on the matter. im planning on lowering the car about 2 inches, and for tire size i was going for 235f and 255r. but the height is whats throwing me off. thanks.

thanks for the suggestion. i am wanting to go a little wider since i dont like the stretched look. if i did that but went with say, 225f and 235 rear, would i run into fender problems?

haha nice one. imo, its not a bad thing, just not for me. if my car was that low as sosideways car, then i would do it out of necessity. thanks for the link, especially since hes got pretty much what i do.

fixed

only FNOR's that are worth getting are 17 or 18x9/91/2 in front with 17 or 18x10"+ with low offsets..

nismo, flame all you want, but thats not the topic of this thread. i asked what tire size i should get for the rims i have. i know i asked for opinions, but one that is as off base as yours should be kept to yourself

225 or 235 is what Falken says is normal for 8J

And yeah, 225F/235R is what I run right now, they're perfectly fine.

thanks for the input guys, it helped a lot. another question though, is anyone running the falken 452s? i was gonna get the cooper ?zx2? but they discontinued them, and their replacements cant be ordered at my dealer. ive heard a lot of good things about the falkens, but seen them on mostly vip stuff, some drifting stuff too. a buddy of mine is thinking about them as well for his truck. he had coopers, but went to nitto nt555s, and their corning grip isnt as good. any input on the falkens?
