H & R type and slip on's (15mm with extended studs) I have used.. no issue.
However getting the right offset wheel will negate needing to run them.
The biggest issue with running spacers that are about 15mm is... your car becomes unsafe if they are slip on style used with stock lugnuts. IF you MUST use spacers, I suggest making sure they are hub-centric and bolt to the spindle.

In any case, I use a set of 5mm spacers on my stock studs ( I tried 10, but could only get the lug nut on 4 turns which IMO is not enough). I needed the 5mm's because the lightweight wheels that I bought had a crappy offset (+40) and the front tires were only like 1/4" from the coilover spring, and when taking a hard turn on the track or going over a elevation change they would rub.
