alarm

hey i have a 95 s14 and i bought is used adn i was wondering if there was a way i can see if i have a alarm without like breaking a window or somethign i didnt get a remote with the car but it could have easily been lost and forgoten about cause when i bought hte car it had been sitting for some time a a car lot cause no everyone appreciates a good s14 liek all of us

I guess you could just pop the hood open and look for the siren..

^ Yes, but the alarm can not go off if he doesn't have a remote to arm it with...

Are the doors power locked or old school? When I got my alarm installed, I got the door actuators (or however you spell it).

thats true... my mistake. But then again my buddy with his 300 locks the doors with a key and it doesnt do anything(noise wise) and the alarm is on and armed so yeah

i have power locks just no key remote thing o yea can yall help me fig how to fix my power lock i have the little switch thing on my door it just like dosent seem like it has enouigh power ot do it tey click but dont barly move

I didn't know my 95 had an alarm until someone broke my window and I tried to unlock the door from the inside without my key. The horn started blasting and the lights started flashing. The alarm doesn't have a shock sensor, only goes off when you try to unlock the car from the inside once it's been locked with the key or the interior switch. I don't have a remote either, but my car definately doesn't have it's own siren. Did Nissan offer an optional alarm from the factory?
