Infiniti speakers are decent, but I would definitely go with some components if possible and a different head unit. the 4x6 is only capable of so much and with no tweeter at ear level, it will sound cleaner than stock but with components in the front, you'll be in SQ heaven.

With your mention of tweeter at ear level should I install the tweeters high on the A pillers?

i have a headunit- Pioneer DEH-P4400
i want components but i really have no idea how to hook them up and it would be a huge hassle to cut out the 4x6 hole to 6" or 6.5" and find a spot for the tweeters. and then what do i do with the back speakers? the same? two more 6"/6.5" mids with two more tweeters?

do u just splice the speaker wires and run them to both the tweeter and the mid? how do they separate the highs from the mids from the lows?

when i bought my car it had a new deck (broken and old, and crappy) and an amp and 2 10's in a homemade particle board box (falling appart and crappy). i removed everything and then installed a new sony deck by mostly trial and error, haha. but it came out ok. the stock speakers are awful (or were for me by that time) so i removed the front ones and put in some sony XPLOD 3-way 6.5's (if i used ones that were the same size you couldnt see the cool design...haha ...later i put back in the small crappy amp and put the subs in (minus box, ill be getting that later)...im in the process of removing the (again, crappy) rear speakers in hope of getting some small 2-ways. then ill be done with my sound system untill i can get an enclosure..
