i broke my alarm pager.. now what?

ok i'm stupid enough to accidentally throw my pants with my keys in the laundry.

Now the damn pager doesn't lock my car. It barely unlocks my car. What do i do now?

It's a viper led 2 way (not the one with the picture of the car) and bought/installed at best buy. Lost the damn receipt and warranty. Damn!!!

someone help me.

The only thing I can think of is to take it apart and let it dry maybe... without the battery in it. Once everything is dry try putting it back together with a new battery.

If that doesn't work you will probably have to buy a new pager. You should be able to order one through viper (shouldn't cost that much) or through best buy.

Sorry I don't have any other ideas for you and good luck, it could have just as easily been me tossing my pants with the keys in the pocket into the washer.

I do crap like that all the time.

Too late . Before trying it, you should have,
removed the battery first.
Dry it then re-install the battery then test it
Most likely it wasn't dry when you tried it, thus only worked once.
Sorry bro, buy a new one

yeah - if an electronic device gets wet - immediately take power away from it in any way possible. I dropped a cell phone in a glass of water once (don't ask, haha) and I instantly took it out and poped the battery. I then took it apart compeletely, used a hair dryer and let it sit outside (hot summer day) for a few hours, then I reassmebled it and it was saved!

Yeah, what you want to do is program a new remote for your car. Circuit City or Best Buy can do that for you. You can probably even upgrade to the 2-way that has the picture of the car on it. It will cost about 80 dollars for that one though.
