Angry For the life of me.....

I just bought a 15" Rockford Fosgate RFP3415 from this one dude, but for the life of me I can't find a single 15" sub enclosure anywhere...at least a good one. Does anyone know any online sites that have some good ones?

Both companies are good. But when faced with a choice like that, I look at it this way. Kenwood, while they make good stuff, makes a lot of different things. They range from home audio to car audio, while this isn't bad at all, Alpine's products are stricly car audio. I like to think Alpine dedicated more of its time to car audio then Kenwood, so their products would tend to be a little better. Thats just me though. Hey why don't you have someone build an enclosure for you? It might be cheaper.

i agree with frank...you could always have a box custom made. if i recall correctly it can be cheaper too. check with your local car audio dealers. they should either know how to properly make one for you or direct you to someone who can. make sure that if you have it made, they customize it to your rockford enclosure specs. i know someone who blew 3 ba (Boston acoustics) subs (he says it was due to improper enclosure construction...who knows) some specialty home audio stores make them too. there's one near me that does. there's also a coating put on the inside of the box for better resonance but i cant remember the name of it. plus if you build one you can generally get a really good carpet match...but its your call. a little research couldnt hurt

yea theres a couple of people I know around here that make custom boxes and I was talkin to them about it, they can do it for around $60. Thats a lot better than payin $120 for a bandpass of crutchfield
