ok i got my 240sx about a week ago... i got 2 remotes with it... its an SE by the way so it came with the keyless entry and it does look like it has the anti theft system because it has 2 anti theft stickers on the rear windows.... well the two remotes dont work ... the last owner told me to go to nissan dealer to enable it.... i called them i got the same thing the one guy post... lock doors... key in and out about 5 times... hazards flash then turn the key to run but dont start and hit the lock button on remote and the hazard lights should flash again... i did all that but when i press the lock button the hazard lights wont flash...i tried it probably about 25 times with one remote and about 10 times with the other remote.... so what the hell do i have to do to get this shiznit working...i really want it to work...if it came with it i wanna make good use of it... is there a anti theft or keyless entry fuse and which box is it in... and what does it say on the box exactly... please help pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeee

you could check all the fuses, i think there are only 2 locations (drivers foot, under hood). can get a tester for maybe $5.

you could always go to nissan and maybe someone will help you.... for free if you're lucky!

 

which fuses... do i need to check.. cause i cant really find one specific for the alarm system or the security system or whatever it is called

 

man... this sucks... 3 weeks with my car and i have keyless entry/anti theft but it doesnt work... can someone tell me and show me a pic of a place where i can look for some wires that may have been cut or something.... becuase i checked all the fuses and i didnt find one for anti theft but i checked the electric ones that may have to do something with it... no luck they are all good.... help me please i dont wanna spend 120 dollars on an anoter one.... i dont even have a 100 dollars .... no job....!!!

I would say screw factory security and but an aftermarket alarm.

Of course I sell them, so I would say that.

For about $280-400 you can get a nice Viper or Clifford.

Just my 2 cents.
