Audio, Video and Security Stereos, Subs, In-Dash Tv's and alarms

no sound!

no sound!

okay well i just installed a sony cdx-m610 on my 240, it turns on and everything but there is no sound coming out of it! i know the speakers are working because when i put the speaker wires to a battery it makes a popping noise. could it be the fuse or something? somebody please help! driving without music sucks!

ur car has a factory amp connect that one blue that is labeled "amp turn on" wire and it should work

i dont see that blue wire you're talking about... do you have a picture or something? sorry. =/

did u buy a wiring harness specific to ur car's year first of all?
cuz splicing the factory harness is a VERY BAD IDEA

its an s13 =/ and yeah i bought the harness for my car, the harness for the car is still in good condition, not spliced

i found out the problem! a grounded speaker wire... ugh.. well i got it fixed, i was trying to do the blue wire thing and i unplugged it and it started working... because one of the wire was grounded.. thanks for helping guys!
