It's the worst when the 5-0 is standing on the shoulder with a radar gun and the fuzz buster goes ****ing nuts. Scares the **** out of me. Charles, is that the instant on you were talking about.

I just hard wired mine this morning. I tapped into the accessory socket and used an alligator clip on the ground wire and just clipped it to a ground. It's super easy to install and this makes it easier to remove later if I need to.

Yeah. It basically gives you no warning much like laser. They love using that in VA. They also use it to see who has radar detectors by aiming it from behind you when you are alone on the road. If you stab the brakes for no apparent reason, that gives them enough reason to pull you over to check for a detector

Did not know that...ahahah! Police officers are tricky.

I think I might go ahead and get the V1 pretty soon, and definitely hardwire it to my car.

Lol, thats what I say every time I get pulled over for like...a busted tail light or something.

In a way though, it's awesome cause as you may or may not know...my dad had his car stolen (it was a civic hybrid), but they found the guy because he had a busted headlight and they pulled him over for it! Lol!!

It's sad that it actually had to come to that for them to find him, but hell; I'll take it.

Lol, no I seriously laugh about that myself. Who does that???

But either way; it's whatever. They found it! Only insurance owns it now! Lol.

Maybe if I hid a radar detector in it, and the car buzzed every time a cop came by, if the guy woulda freaked and just returned the car, lol.

If you are worried about getting caught with a radar detector there are companys that make ones that have sensors that go on your license plates. Being in the car your friends wouldnt even know you had it

but in missouri radar detectors are leagal and so are radar jammers
when ever i get pulled over, my car sits low enough to where when the cop is talking to me they cant even see my radar detector with out bending over all the way and looking above my rear veiw mirror wich rarely happens.
