screws for s14's rear speakers

I just got some new speakers for the back, where I previously didnt have any. The screws that came with the speakers are too small for the screw holes that are already there. Anyone know off the top of their heads what size screw to use?

i dont even have screws on mine and they dont bounce or ne thing...i have some of the little foam sealer that u get for doors to seal off air inbetween the speaker and the metal to stop vibrations. Instead of using screws im just using that black tacking, u could probably use the wall tack stuff for like posters.

a quick trip to the hardware store will yield you some 1/2inch sheet metal screws for pennies; get a ruler and get a general diameter of the holes, then buy screws.

Personally I ended up using 1/2 nut/bolt combo to secure the speakers so that there would be no chance of rattling.
