Well, this is audio, video, and security. I don't know if a lot of owners here have big systems or anything--but I'm sure there are some. I'll keep you posted if I pick up an S13 and throw some sound EQ into it.

Maybe I'll just post up some setups I've done in the past...I dunno.

a while back i had 2 10" pioneer sealed subs and a 12" pioneer free air sub in a custom build enclosure of course. i don't remember the brand of the amp, it wasn't anything special but it was 2000 watts. i also had a 2.0 fared cap with digital read out and a 10 band pre amp. all in all between the eq on the deck, pre amp, and x over on the amp i had some very low clear bass. the 4x6's in the doors were replaced with 6.5" 3 way iirc and the 4x6 in the rear were replaced with better ones, polk i think.

i sold the subs, amp, pre amp, cap about 3 months latter because i couldn't sleep at night from the ringing in my ears. that and it was weighing my car down.

I have an alright system in my s13 hatch. I have 2 sets of 5.25inch phoenix gold component sets. one for the front and one for the rear. i have the tweeters flush mounted in my doors. I have a kenwood 600watt four channel amp running the component sets. then 2 phoenix gold octane r 10inch subs in a custom enclosure with a 800watt mono block octane amp. all of which is 1 ohm stable and screams. but im actually going to be getting rid of both of the 10's. i want to get one alpine 10 and a nice amp so i dont have all that extra wieght.

i just have 4 Rockford Fosgate speakers in place of the stock speakers and a 400 watt pioneer amp. no subs...the trunk in the s14 is already cramped as it is.

I have 2 12" RF Punch in the back of the S14 powered by a punch amp (400w?), good-bye trunk......lol. Just ordered 2 pair of Infinity 6.5" for the doors and rear deck (blew my stock speakers quickly after buying the car.) All powered by my old school Kenwood deck. I can't complain I bought the subs, box, amp, and the deck off a guy who needed some coke for $100. Gotta love the crackhead specials!

I have a pair of brand new Kicker KS60.2 components for the front doors, 2 10" JL Audio W0 subs, an MTX RT202 150 watt amp for the speakers, and a 600 watt Kenwood amp for the subs, all waiting to go into my car. I have a Pioneer head unit in it, but I think I'm going to switch back to my old Kenwood unit.
