Using the stock amps with aftermarket HU & speakers?

So I've got a 95 240SX SE with the factory CD player. I swapped out the HU for a Pioneer DEH-P5800MP (22W RMS/50W peak x 4) this week and am in the process of swapping out the speakers for Infinity 6012si speakers in the front (50W RMS, 150W peak) and Alpine SPS-17C2 in the rear (50W RMS, 250W peak).

Now, I'm wondering if it's possible, at all, to retain the factory wiring and amps. I really, really, really don't want to have to run more wires and mount a new amp, but I'm really thinking the factory amps are gonna underpower these speakers.

Can anyone confirm/deny my fears here?

P.S. I'm using the Scoshe OEM Amplifier Adapter for the HU, should I just turn the gains all the way up?

ew. rip the factory amp out and DEFINATELY rewire... its really not that hard... you dont have to go thru the doorjamb, just cut the wires that lead to the speaker, right before the doorjamb and attach new wires from there to the head unit and as for the rears... just do it and take your time... i know this is a longshot, but if you're in the lancaster/york pa area, ill do it for you for free... im an installer at circuit city.

Cool, thanks for the offer. I actually ended up installing everything on Saturday and still retained use of the factory amps. Using the Scosche adapter I got from Crutchfield, I just adjusted the speaker level outputs from the headunit until the speakers sounded right. Honestly, I'm happy with it as-is. Maybe someday if I ever upgrade things again I'll run new wire...

Thanks!
