I see alot of chaos going on there. haha. You guys should mark clipping points and try to take lines through the course. Maybe set up a course that uses the top of 2nd gear mostly. Fewer turns at higher speeds = fun.

that's the biggest difference in American style vs Japanese.

Japan is way more technical. you even see it in the pro level of drifting. those long sweepers that FD do don't impress me at all.

OOOOh no brother!!!! I was not talking about the rx-7 Fd.... im talking about FD as in Formula Drift.

Man Im not hating on no one out there or any drifter in the world man.. we are all brothers with one common goal.

Hopefully wherever I go when I return to the states has technical courses. That is when drifting really gets fun and challenges you. For you guys it would accelerate your learning as well. If I ran a parking lot event, I would use hey mixed in with cones rather than just cones alone as it gives you a better vantage point.

Yeah, I can drift a technical course all day. I just prefer the higher speed courses.

Higher speed makes for more exciting Tandems too. The local figure 8 that we drift at, its a pretty slow track but the walls and tight track make it a big rush.
