LMAO! I think Donnie and I have the same sentiments. He's got an R33 now, and I had an R33 . . .I don't know, for certain, what he's thinking, but I know I thought "Okay . . .it's fast and handles well . . . ."
LOL!
I mean, you get over in J-land, everything is different. The entire culture is wrapped around motorsports, it seems, you get there and it's just a completely different ball park, you know? I love it, but at the same time, it makes owning a Skyline or an FD or GTO (3000gt in the states) feel awash. I would have rather owned a Mustang in Japan, to be honest. A Skyline, while amazing, is just another Nissan, an RX7 (while still very good) is just another Mazda and a Supra (while a beast on the Wangan) is still just a Toyota . . .I mean, yeah, they're great cars, great cars that are recognized as great cars even by the Japanese, but they're comparable to what the Viper, Corvette, Mustang and Camaro are to us. Now we have the Challenger and Charger back . . . .in the twisties . . .the Japs have us . . .on the highway . . . .yeah . . .we can hold our own
