Just joined and have a few questions

Hey I just joined and had a few questions. I got my 95 240 about 8 months ago and have been working of paying it off. Thats done and I have an Apexi 3" catback system on it and 17" VSR rims with 235 40ZR17 tires on it but what shoud I invest in next to set it up for drifting? My buddy told me a good LSD but I was thinking more suspension. Just wondering your opinion.

beef up the suspension and then get lsd,by the way the search button will become your best friend(very helpful), but good luck with teh car and welcome

definately what he said, suspension should always come first, along with a lsd. I would recommend holding off on wheels at first because your gona waste a lot of money on tires and stuff when you start drifting so itd be better if you could stay with stock cheaper/used tires until you get better. also its easier to learn to drift with less traction. Once youve began to max out your potential on stock tires then you should move up to more grip.

if you get lsd before suspension i wouldnt recomend drifting throught a tight corner or anything. you may have the drift perfect most of the way through then the body roll will send your car flying the other way.

Thanx for the tips. I've got a good LSD but its not name brand or special. I got wheels because one was bent but I saved two of the good old ones for drifting. And your right, 15" tires a alot cheaper than 17".

Ask any Japanese tuner and they'll say start with the footwork (suspension) first, then install an LSD. It's no good to have an LSD if the car rolls on you. Stick with 15" for now, they are cheaper. Actually get good sticky tires for the front and used ones for the rear because you'll go through a whole lot of tires.
