sorry babe.... LOL jk

well for me was i thought i was the **** with my stock s14 fist day i had it so i tried drifting and hit a curb luckly nothing else bent my right front strut and spindle.

cop gave me a warning let me go then i had to shell out $500 in parts to fix it... lets just say i learned my lesson quick and have a greater respect for all cars and my skill as a driver.

i try to tell anyone that tells me they want a 240 to not do stupid **** like me hopefully atleast some listen. this is why im into auto-x to have fun, push my skills to the limit and learn.

also i put too much money into my 240 to wreck it cause a kid in a civic wants to race lol

I wish the kids were in the cars when they did that. I hate street racers, like . . .passionately.

Damn, I'm always sleeping when you guys are having involved conversations. That one dude in that video did get clobbered though. Horrible.

Speaking of which, what was the decision on drifting, anyway? Did it get banned?

Haha, that sucks man. Those people kinda make you mad when you see their picture and realize what they've done. Kinda selfish. It's whatever.

Now more and more kids will do it on the streets, and when they ask WHY, it's because the track shut down. Idiots.

Get this, Mr Rivera used to be a ex motocross champ! He used to race dirtbikes. Notice how he stands behind his wife in the pic and his wife has crossed arms, what does that tell you in that merrage.......he probably wears the dress and she wears the pants.

Ok, I'm bring this thread back with an update... sorta. If you havent heard, Drift Battle decided to tell Altamont to p*ss off because of how bad the owner made us look. SO, Drift Battle has set up a few times for Nor Cal folks to play at Thunder Hill Raceway and... I think Buttonwillow. So drifting is still alive, just have to drive a lil farther than usual to enjoy it.

Other than that, last I heard Altamont was going down hill FAST! The owner lied about the investment monies he claimed to have before development started and on top of that, he built the facilities against county regulations.

Now to get my car back on the road... I miss her so much... Im crying just hinking about her... ok, so Im not crying, but you know Dave (Stig) would love to see me cry.

Anyways back to the street drifting, we up here in Bay Area and Central Cali had a nice track to go drift at (altamont raceway) but one person that bought some property around the track decided to build his house within 200 feet of the track and he bought a couple of acres anyways he was complaining about the noise and protential alcohal use and got the whole track shut down, there is no racing what so ever on the track.

Check out this video.

it didnt get the track closed down...the track just got banned from hosting drift events...that was my buddies david and josh in the z and corolla.
