Yeah, I think I remember reading the same thing about the Cusco differentials. I'll do a little research tonight on where I read that and see if I can bring more information to this thread.

The only reason I think they did that was to help people who are just getting into clutch type diffs. They prefer customers to start off with either a 1 way (I think also convertable to 1.5) or a 1.5 way (convertable to 2 way) to learn how to drive with them and then gradually work up to the next step. Good idea if you ask me.
