350z trannsmission question

Ive been searching all day for answers and cant seem to find anything. I was wondering if there was any way to get a 350z transmission to work with a redtop sr20. My sr20 tranny seems shot and i found a 350z tranny for a good price and was just wondering if there was anyway to get it to work with the sr.

never heard of it being done, imo it would probably require a lot of custom work, might as well buy another sr 5speed, they are awesome trannys.

would that be a six speed 350z tranny or five? a strong six speed on an sr would be sexy.

many companies make strong six speeds for the SR but the only downfall is that the tranny cost more then a built sr lol

new to the 240 scene but im looking to get a 97 and its auto and would like a manual tranny. I also found a 350z 6spd tranny on craigslist for $750. Would this work with that adapter piece?
