what gear oil should i be using in my sr20 red top tranny?

and if you know how to drain and fill the gearbox that would help too.

Use motul or redline. As for draining/refilling, s-e-a-r-c-h it's in here.

 

Drain from the bottom plug. Fill from the plug on the side. Fill it until the oil starts to come out of the fill hole.

Why would anyone spend the big dolla's on getting a sr and not even know how to change something as simple as tranny oil?
