Clutch question

My clutch is tight to push in and grabsat the very top of the pedal travel. Is there any way to maybe make the clutch easier to push or increase pedal travel before the clutch engages by using a different clutch slave cylinder or master cylinder or something that i could adjust on the actual pedal? Sorry if its a noob question, I'm trying to figure out the hydraulic system of cars.

clutch adjustment

well there is one thing you can do and that is adjust the pedal free play at the pedal . this is done by loosening the lock nut on the clutch pedal , then you would want to adjust the free play out of the pedal so your pedal will have full engaugement somewhere in the middle of the pedal travel . as far as it being easier, there isnt any adjustment for that unless you try a different clutch master but for the most part they will be the same . try it and let me know . trevor
